THE LUKAS PODOLSKI FOUNDATION
As a professional footballer, Lukas Podolski knows, that he is living many people's dream. But Lukas Podolski was not born with golden boots on, nor did his successful career simply happen on its own. Family backing and support in the right places made mucht possible for him. In Recognition of this, he develeoped a desire to provide targeted aid for others who lack such backing and support. In 2010, he set up the Lukas Podolski Foundation.
Lukas Podolski has a big heart, especially where children from socially disadvantaged families are concerned. His foundation has been set up to carry out sport and educational projects for disadvantaged children and young adults. The Lukas Podolski Foundation is also a hub for all those who, like Podolski, would like to help these projects by making a donation.
And Lukas Podolski’s commitment to social causes doesn’t stop here: he has also supported ‘Die Arche’ for many years and acts as an ambassador for this charitable youth organisation that supports children in Germany and Poland.
